The bug was discovered 05/27/2014. The weakness was published 07/19/2018 by Markus Vervier with LSE Leading Security Experts as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is available at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-0243 since 12/03/2013. Local access is required to approach this attack. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit.
