An issue was discovered on D-Link DIR-825 Rev.B 2.10 devices. There is an information disclosure vulnerability via requests for the router_info.xml document. This will reveal the PIN code, MAC address, routing table, firmware version, update time, QOS information, LAN information, and WLAN information of the device.

The bug was discovered 12/13/2018. The weakness was shared 02/25/2019. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2019-9126 since 02/24/2019. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. The structure of the vulnerability defines a possible price range of USD $5k-$25k at the moment (estimation calculated on 07/19/2023).
