The ScrollView::paint function in platform/scroll/ScrollView.cpp in Blink, as used in Google Chrome before 35.0.1916.114, allows remote attackers to spoof the UI by extending scrollbar painting into the parent frame.

The weakness was released 05/20/2014 by Jordan Milne (Website). The advisory is shared for download at lists.apple.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2014-1748 since 01/29/2014. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
