Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in SonicWALL SOHO 5.1.7.0 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via (1) the URL or (2) the user login name, which is not filtered when the administrator views the log file.

The weakness was published 04/06/2005 by Oliver Karow (Website). The advisory is available at oliverkarow.de. This vulnerability was named CVE-2005-1006 since 04/07/2005. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are unknown but an exploit is available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1059.007 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
