A vulnerability was found in Microsoft MSN Messenger up to 7.0beta (Messaging Software). It has been declared as critical. The bug was discovered 04/12/2005. The weakness was presented 04/12/2005 by Hongzhen Zhou as MS05-022 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is shared for download at microsoft.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2005-0562 since 02/26/2005. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
