calendar.php in vBulletin before 2.2.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via shell metacharacters in the command parameter.
The bug was discovered 09/24/2002. The weakness was published 12/31/2002 (Website). The advisory is shared at securitytracker.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2002-1660 since 05/04/2005. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1202 for this issue.
