The weakness was shared 06/09/2003 by Frog Man as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared at marc.theaimsgroup.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2003-0303 since 05/15/2003. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1505 for this issue.

Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem.
