rfc1867.c in PHP before 5.0.2 allows local users to upload files to arbitrary locations via a PHP script with a certain MIME header that causes the "$_FILES" array to be modified.

The weakness was released 11/03/2004 by Stefano Di Paola with isec (Website). The advisory is shared for download at marc.info. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2004-0959 since 10/13/2004. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack needs to be approached locally. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
