The bug was discovered 05/29/2005. The weakness was presented 06/04/2005 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at secwatch.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2005-1883 since 06/08/2005. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
