The weakness was released 03/30/2006 by Aliaksandr Hartsuyeu (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at vupen.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2006-1569 since 03/31/2006. The exploitability is told to be difficult. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1505 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
It is declared as proof-of-concept. By approaching the search of inurl:login.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
It is possible to mitigate the problem by adding an authentication mechanism.
