The bug was discovered 07/30/2006. The weakness was disclosed 07/30/2006 by Kurdish Security (Website). The advisory is shared for download at ravenswoodit.co.uk. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2006-3995 since 08/04/2006. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1059.
