Multiple directory traversal vulnerabilities in Scallywag 2005-04-25 allow remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via a .. (dot dot) in the skin_name parameter to template.php in (1) skin/dark/, (2) skin/gold/, or (3) skin/original/, a different vector than CVE-2007-2900. NOTE: the provenance of this information is unknown; the details are obtained solely from third party information.

The weakness was shared 05/24/2007 by Cyber-Security (Website). The advisory is shared for download at vupen.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2007-2960 since 05/31/2007. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1006.

It is declared as proof-of-concept. By approaching the search of inurl:template.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
