A vulnerability was found in Alt-N SecurityGateway 1.0.1. It has been rated as very critical. Affected by this issue is some unknown processing in the library SecurityGateway.dll. The manipulation of the argument username

Stack-based buffer overflow in SecurityGateway.dll in Alt-N Technologies SecurityGateway 1.0.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long username parameter.
The bug was discovered 06/01/2008. The weakness was disclosed 09/24/2008 by securfrog (Website). The advisory is available at xforce.iss.net. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2008-4193 since 09/23/2008. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
