SQL injection vulnerability in the Tech Articles (com_tech_article) 1.0 component for Joomla! allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the item parameter to index.php.
The weakness was presented 02/04/2009 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at milw0rm.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2008-6050 since 02/04/2009. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known.
