Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in FreePBX 2.5.1, and other 2.4.x, 2.5.x, and pre-release 2.6.x versions, allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) display parameter to reports.php, the (2) order and (3) extdisplay parameters to config.php, and the (4) sort parameter to recordings/index.php. NOTE: some of these details are obtained from third party information.
The weakness was published 05/06/2009 by Dejan Levaja (Mike) (Website). The advisory is available at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2009-1801 since 05/28/2009. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. This vulnerability is assigned to T1059.007 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
It is declared as highly functional. By approaching the search of inurl:reports.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
