eledicss.php in WeBid auction script 0.5.4 allows remote attackers to modify arbitrary cascading style sheets (CSS) files via a certain request with the file parameter set to style.css. NOTE: this can probably be leveraged for cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The weakness was published 08/28/2009 by FiSh (Website). The advisory is available at milw0rm.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2008-7117 since 08/28/2009. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
