NOTE: there is no general agreement that this is a vulnerability, because separate control over locking can be an equally secure, or more secure, behavior in some threat environments.

This vulnerability is known as CVE-2010-2532 since 06/30/2010. The exploitation appears to be easy. Attacking locally is a requirement. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
