Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in wp-login.php in the Register Plus plugin 3.5.1 and earlier for WordPress allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) firstname, (2) lastname, (3) website, (4) aim, (5) yahoo, (6) jabber, (7) about, (8) pass1, and (9) pass2 parameters in a register action.

The bug was discovered 05/02/2010. The weakness was released 11/24/2010 by MustLive (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2010-4402 since 12/04/2010. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details as well as a exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1059.007.
