Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in VaM Shop 1.6, 1.6.1, and probably earlier versions allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that (1) change user status via admin/customers.php or (2) change user permissions via admin/accounting.php. NOTE: some of these details are obtained from third party information.
The weakness was disclosed 01/11/2011 as confirmed posting (Bugtraq). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2011-0503 since 01/20/2011. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
