A vulnerability was found in John Geo Freelancer calendar up to 1.01 (Calendar Software). It has been rated as critical. This issue affects an unknown function of the file category_list.php. The manipulation of the argument SearchField
with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in Freelancer calendar 1.01 and earlier allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the SearchField parameter in a search action to (1) category_list.php, (2) Copy_of_calendar_list.php, (3) customer_statistics_list.php, (4) customer_list.php, and (5) task_statistics_list.php in the worldcalendar directory.

The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2011-5109 since 08/23/2012. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
