The weakness was released 09/12/2012 by Abhishek Arya (Inferno) with Google Chrome Security Team as APPLE-SA-2012-09-12-1 as not defined posting (Website). The advisory is available at lists.apple.com. The public release was coordinated with the vendor. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2012-3618 since 06/19/2012. The attack may be launched remotely.
