Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in Mavili Guestbook, as released in November 2007, allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the id parameter to (1) approve.asp, (2) delete.asp, (3) edit.asp, or (4) edit2.asp.
The weakness was disclosed 10/04/2012 by Alex (Website). The advisory is shared for download at archives.neohapsis.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2012-5296 since 10/04/2012. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
