Open redirect vulnerability in node-util/www/html/restorer.php in Red Hat OpenShift Origin before 1.0.5-3 allows remote attackers to redirect users to arbitrary web sites and conduct phishing attacks via a URL in the PATH_INFO.
The weakness was disclosed 02/24/2013 by Michael Scherer with Red Hat (Website). The advisory is shared at github.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2012-5647 since 10/24/2012. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
Upgrading to version 1.0.5 eliminates this vulnerability.
