The issue has been introduced in 05/28/2014. The weakness was disclosed 07/16/2014 with Oracle as Oracle Critical Patch Update Advisory - July 2014 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at oracle.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2014-4208 since 06/17/2014. The exploitability is told to be difficult.
