Affected is an unknown part of the file sap.c of the component SAP Service Discovery Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. The weakness was presented 01/20/2015 by Fabian Yamaguchi as confirmed mailinglist post (oss-sec). The advisory is shared for download at seclists.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2015-1202 since 01/20/2015. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
