Core FTP Server 1.2 before build 515 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (reachable assertion and crash) via an AUTH SSL command with malformed data, as demonstrated by pressing the enter key twice.
The weakness was released 05/01/2014 by Martin (Website). The advisory is available at seclists.org. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-1441 since 01/14/2014. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
