libgadu before 1.11.4 and 1.12.0 before 1.12.0-rc3, as used in Pidgin and other products, allows remote Gadu-Gadu file relay servers to cause a denial of service (memory overwrite) or possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted message.
The weakness was presented 05/22/2014 as Bug 1099776 as not defined bug report (Bugzilla). It is possible to read the advisory at bugzilla.redhat.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2014-3775 since 05/19/2014. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
