CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird 16.0.1/16.0.2 (Web Browser). Affected is the function evalInSandbox of the component Sandbox. The manipulation of the argument location.href with an unknown input leads to a config vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-16. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:

The evalInSandbox implementation in Mozilla Firefox before 17.0, Firefox ESR 10.x before 10.0.11, Thunderbird before 17.0, Thunderbird ESR 10.x before 10.0.11, and SeaMonkey before 2.14 uses an incorrect context during the handling of JavaScript code that sets the location.href property, which allows remote attackers to conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks or read arbitrary files by leveraging a sandboxed add-on.

The weakness was shared 11/20/2012 by moz_bug_r_a4 with Mozilla Corporation as MFSA 2012-93 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared for download at mozilla.org.
