A vulnerability was found in Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird 16.0.1/16.0.2 (Web Browser). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects the function BuildTextRunsScanner::BreakSink::SetBreaks

Use-after-free vulnerability in the BuildTextRunsScanner::BreakSink::SetBreaks function in Mozilla Firefox before 17.0, Thunderbird before 17.0, and SeaMonkey before 2.14 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (heap memory corruption) via unspecified vectors.
The weakness was published 11/20/2012 by Abhishek Arya (Inferno) with Google Chrome Security Team as mfsa2012-105 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared for download at mozilla.org.
