A vulnerability was found in Monkey HTTP Daemon (Web Server). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects the function mk_request_header_process

Stack-based buffer overflow in the mk_request_header_process function in mk_request.c in Monkey HTTP Daemon (monkeyd) before 1.2.1 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTTP header.
The weakness was released 06/13/2014 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2013-3843 since 06/03/2013. The attack can be initiated remotely. Upgrading to version 1.2.0 eliminates this vulnerability.
