Smarty before 3.1.21 allows remote attackers to bypass the secure mode restrictions and execute arbitrary PHP code as demonstrated by "{literal}<{/literal}script language=php>" in a template.
The weakness was disclosed 11/03/2014 as tps://c (Website). The advisory is available at code.google.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-8350 since 10/20/2014.
