A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Zoho ManageEngine OpManager up to 10.3 (Network Management Software). Affected is an unknown code block. The manipulation of the argument fileName
with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. This is going to have an impact on integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
Directory traversal vulnerability in the multipartRequest servlet in ZOHO ManageEngine OpManager 11.3 and earlier, Social IT Plus 11.0, and IT360 10.3, 10.4, and earlier allows remote attackers or remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the fileName parameter.
