The bug was discovered 10/10/2012. The weakness was shared 02/08/2013 by Juan Manuel Garcia with CYBSEC S.A. as confirmed mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is shared for download at seclists.org. The public release happened without coordination with the vendor. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.

A public exploit has been developed by CYBSEC Labs and been published immediately after the advisory. It is possible to download the exploit at exploit-db.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept.
