Multiple vulnerabilities existed in LibreSSL versions prior to 2.1.8. These were addressed by updating LibreSSL to version 2.1.8.

It is assigned to the family FreeBSD Local Security Checks and running in the context l. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 371218 (Apple macOS Mojave 10.14 Not Installed (APPLE-SA-2018-9-24-1)).
Upgrading to version 10.11.2 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
