The ChangePassword RPC method in Novell ZENworks Configuration Management (ZCM) 11.3 and 11.4 allows remote attackers to conduct XPath injection attacks, and read arbitrary text files, via a malformed query involving a system entity reference.

The weakness was released 02/18/2016 by cpnrodzc7 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at novell.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2015-5970 since 08/12/2015. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
