The HistoryController::UpdateForCommit function in content/renderer/history_controller.cc in Google Chrome before 50.0.2661.94 mishandles the interaction between subframe forward navigations and other forward navigations, which allows remote attackers to spoof the address bar via a crafted web site.

The weakness was shared 05/14/2016 by Atte Kettunen with OUSPG (Website). The advisory is shared for download at crbug.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2016-1664 since 01/12/2016. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
