QuickTime in Apple OS X before 10.11.6 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted FlashPix bitmap image, a different vulnerability than CVE-2016-4596, CVE-2016-4597, and CVE-2016-4600.
The weakness was disclosed 07/18/2016 by Stefan Esser with Zero Day Initiative as HT206903 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is available at support.apple.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2016-4602 since 05/11/2016. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available. The advisory points out:
