A vulnerability was found in Apple Safari up to 10.1.0 (Web Browser). It has been classified as critical. This affects an unknown code block of the component WebKit. The product performs operations on a memory buffer, but it can read from or write to a memory location that is outside of the intended boundary of the buffer. The bug was discovered 05/10/2017. The weakness was disclosed 05/15/2017 by Kai Kang (lokihardt) with Google Project Zero as HT207804 as confirmed advisory (Website). Upgrading to version 10.1.1 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
