A vulnerability has been found in MODX Revolution up to 2.5.6 (Content Management System) and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects some unknown functionality of the file connectors/index.php of the component Resource Edit Handler. The manipulation of the argument pagetitle with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-79. In MODX Revolution before 2.5.7, a user with resource edit permissions can inject an XSS payload into the title of any post via the pagetitle parameter to connectors/index.php.
