Memory leak in the keyboard input event handlers support in QEMU (aka Quick Emulator) allows local guest OS privileged users to cause a denial of service (host memory consumption) by rapidly generating large keyboard events.
The bug was discovered 05/01/2017. The weakness was released 05/23/2017 by Jiang Xin with Huawei (oss-sec). The advisory is shared for download at openwall.com.
