A vulnerability was found in Synology DiskStation Manager up to 4.3-3776 (Network Attached Storage Software) and classified as problematic. Affected by this issue is an unknown functionality of the file webfm/webUI/uistrings.cgi. The manipulation of the argument lang with an unknown input leads to a privileges management vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-269. The product does not properly assign, modify, track, or check privileges for an actor, creating an unintended sphere of control for that actor. Impacted is confidentiality, and integrity.
