A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in tcpdump up to 4.9.1 (Packet Analyzer Software). Affected by this issue is the function eigrp_print of the file print-eigrp.c of the component EIGRP Parser. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. The EIGRP parser in tcpdump before 4.9.2 has a buffer over-read in print-eigrp.c:eigrp_print().
