A vulnerability was found in tcpdump up to 4.9.1 (Packet Analyzer Software) and classified as critical. This issue affects the function juniper_parse_header of the file print-juniper.c of the component Juniper Protocol Parser. The manipulation as part of a Header leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-119. The Juniper protocols parser in tcpdump before 4.9.2 has a buffer over-read in print-juniper.c:juniper_parse_header().
