A vulnerability was found in tcpdump up to 4.9.1 (Packet Analyzer Software). It has been rated as critical. This issue affects the function cfm_print of the file print-cfm.c of the component CFM Parser. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. The CFM parser in tcpdump before 4.9.2 has a buffer over-read in print-cfm.c:cfm_print().
