A vulnerability was found in Helpdesk Pro Plugin up to 1.3.x on Joomla (Joomla Component). It has been declared as critical. The Helpdesk Pro plugin before 1.4.0 for Joomla! allows remote attackers to write to arbitrary .ini files via a crafted language.save task.
The bug was discovered 07/21/2015. The weakness was shared 09/20/2017 by Gregor Mynarsky, Kristian Varnai and Simon Rawet as EDB-ID 37666 as not defined exploit (Exploit-DB). The advisory is shared for download at exploit-db.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2015-4075 since 05/22/2015. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1055.
