Inappropriate implementation in Blink in Google Chrome prior to 59.0.3071.86 for Mac, Windows, and Linux, and 59.0.3071.92 for Android, allowed a remote attacker to display UI on a non attacker controlled tab via a crafted HTML page.
The bug was discovered 06/05/2017. The weakness was disclosed 10/27/2017 by Andrey Kovalev with Qihoo 360 Vulcan Team (Website). The advisory is shared at security.gentoo.org. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2017-5083 since 01/02/2017. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
