A vulnerability was found in Smarty up to 3.1.31 (Customer Relationship Management System). It has been rated as critical. Affected by this issue is the function fetch/display of the component Template Name Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a code injection vulnerability. Smarty 3 before 3.1.32 is vulnerable to a PHP code injection when calling fetch() or display() functions on custom resources that does not sanitize template name.
The bug was discovered 01/03/2018. The weakness was shared 01/03/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2017-1000480 since 01/03/2018.
