Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 through 9 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted web site, aka "Internet Explorer Memory Corruption Vulnerability."

The issue has been introduced in 03/22/2001. The weakness was released 11/12/2013 by Peter Van Eeckhoutte (corelanc0d3r) as MS13-088 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is shared for download at technet.microsoft.com. The public release was coordinated with the vendor. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2013-3910 since 06/03/2013. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available. The current price for an exploit might be approx. USD $0-$5k (estimation calculated on 06/01/2021).
