Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 through 8 allows remote attackers to read content from a different (1) domain or (2) zone via crafted characters in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) token sequences, aka "Internet Explorer Information Disclosure Vulnerability."
The issue has been introduced in 03/22/2001. The weakness was shared 11/12/2013 as MS13-088 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is shared for download at technet.microsoft.com. The vendor cooperated in the coordination of the public release. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2013-3909 since 06/03/2013. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available.
