The weakness was published 11/12/2013 by Hossein Lotfi (S0lute) with Secunia as MS13-089 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is shared at technet.microsoft.com. The public release has been coordinated with Microsoft. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2013-3940 since 06/04/2013. The exploitability is told to be difficult. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
